Trekking day 7, 14th of October.
Today’s walk was from Dingboche (4349m) to Loboche (4940m) with lunch at Dukla. An easy trek where we started going through a wide valley and later only few steep ascents. We had again panoramic views to mountains and rivers – which is nowhere tiering.
There was a memorial place for many of those who have died in the mountains on their pursuit to the summits. Scott Fischer was among those who died in 1996, which is described in the book ‘Into Thin Air’, and later made into the Hollywood movie ‘Everest’ – also a must see.
The last part of the trek to Lobuche was rather easy. Tomorrow awaits a long day of 8-9 hours for getting to the Base Camp!
